Haaskraal Wineland Esape offers numerous activities both for the restful or more energetic visitor.
Some of these activities on the farm include:
Mountain biking (mountain bikes for hire) amongst the vineyards and through neighbouring wheat fields.
Bird watching - more than 70 bird species.
Walking or jogging through the vineyards, along the vlei or in the forest along the banks of the Berg River.
Lazing on the verandah with a glass of wine and enjoying the magnificent view of the Hawequa mountains with its snow capped peaks during winter.
Being able to enjoy some local cellars wines from our cozy cellar.
Watching the sun setting across the vineyards with an ever changing backdrop of mountains and cloud formations.
Lazing next to the pool and enjoying the Cape sunshine.

Wine Valley Horse Trails www.horsetrails-sa.co.za can offer spectacular trails on nearby Paarl Mountain whether you are a novice beginner or an advanced rider.

Wine tasting at some of the Capes most well known wine estates - Nederburg, Reeboskloof, Laborie, Fairview, Backsberg and many more including Swartland Cellars such as Lammershoek, Allesverloren, Kloovenburg (all within a 20 minute drive)
Visit the historic towns of Riebeeck West , Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch, Tulbagh
Spend time on the the beaches at the Strand (40 mins) or a day exploring the West coast beaches and villages of Paternoster and surrounds , Langebaan etc.(80 min drive)
The whales at Hermanus, the penguins at Boulder Bay or the seals viewed from Hout Bay.
